I am, I guess, a fussy eater. I dislike things that have too much garlic (this is an improvement of a few years ago where I'd refuse point blank to eat anything with garlic in), I will not eat any kind of curry and I dislike egg when that is all it is (cakes etc are fine). Fried, scrambled, poached, omelet, hardboiled....

Oh and I don't eat freaky foods such as squid, monkey brains, frogs legs etc...

From the other thread I can eat things dependent on the way they're cooked, like vegetables, but seafood is the only thing I just will not eat. Doesn't matter which way it's cooked.

I refuse to try and eat;
Organs (heart, Kidney, liver etc)
Raw Shrimp
Raw Chicken Feet

I'll try (just about) anything else.

Liver, kidneys, heart, squid, eel, snails, frogs legs. Also whelks/mussles/cockles.

None hated more than onions though. HATE the taste of onion. Unless its chopped up into teeny tiny pieces in a sauce so you cant taste it, I wont touch the stuff.

And @ the people discarding offal... is it just the concept which puts you off - the fact it's organs? Or is it the taste after actually trying it?

I think for most it's the over powering taste that bits of offal have. Livers are high in iron and I know when I started eating it, it took a while to get used to that. Depends on the age (or type) of the animal that the liver came out of and how you cook it.
