What game did you complete last night?

Only thing I successfully completed last night was playing with my willy.

The only review I'd have on the 'game' is that it's too long.

Completed mass effect 1 last week, really enjoyed it. Haven't been pulled into a game in many years. ME2 dropped through the post box this morning so going to crack on with that now, excite :)

DS1 on hard deffo. Also have a go only using the Plasma Cutter (for achievement and simply because it's more fun!).

Meh.

The Plasma Cutter was the best gun to use in 99.99% of scenarios and it's the first weapon you get anyway, which for me made it pointless upgrading or using any other weapons. :(

Not last night, but a couple of days ago I finished off playing through GTA4 again, after being inspired by the GTA5 preview.

Enjoyed it much more this time than the first. My hopes for 5 is that they improve the graphics (constant blur, fog and stuttering gets annoying quickly), get rid of the whole 'needy' friends thing, and have a few NPC characters who aren't completely unlikeable **** wits.

Yeah I get that. When I played it through first time though I tried all different weapons thinking - foolishly as it turned out - that new weapons would be better. So when I re-played it through on hard I just used the cutter I found it more enjoyable. Though that might be because the enemies were slightly harder and the fact that I knew where I was going!

:D

I liked the Line Gun, but it felt like a waste of ammo, it was good at killing the little crawly things whose name escapes me, but I found that a lot of the time there was a conveniently placed explosive barrel nearby whenever those guys showed up. So yeah, just stuck with the Plasma Cutter for the rest of the game. :)

I can't believe you guys didn't go for the ripper. That thing just munched everything NOMOMOMOMNOM, even on the harder difficulty settings so I'm led to believe from a quick google. Supposed to be one of the most overpowered weapons in gaming ever :p

It takes too long controlling the stupid blades! Plasma Cutter drops most enemies in like two or three shots, or my favourite is blowing the legs off and then just curbstomping them when they're crawling around on the floor.

I don't know how it took too long to control, you press fire once and you essentially have unlimited ammo for about 12 seconds so just wiggle the stick about obliterating everything :p

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the 2nd time. :(

Going for the Platinum, luckily I only have to do normal now. Ubisoft really need to learn to make stackable difficulty Trophies, the final time i'll be playing it will be with a permanent frown on my face.

That's exactly what takes too long, the wiggling! Point, shoot, dead vs point, shoot, wiggle round for ages hoping you manage to take the limbs off before it does any damage to you. :p

One gun I never ever used was the machine gun or whatever name it goes by in the game. Just didn't see the point of it.

Not long ago beat Uncharted 2 on crushing. I should have bought the game ages ago has I beat the first Uncharted in 2009. After beating Golden Abyss not to long ago I thought I'd get back into the series. I just hope the Online side isn't dead because that'll make getting the Platinum hard has hell.

I'll only play Uncharted 3 if I plat 2. I'm Obsessed with 100%

I've gotta do the Uncharted 2 trophies for online as well mate add me it's the same as my 360 tag.

I'm grinding away at NFS:HP to get some achievements. Also got Forza 4 and a bunch of arcade games on the go. Not finusher anything since... Arkham City, I think?

I actually really enjoy NFS:HP, got it with my PS3 as that is the bundle. I find it gets better and better the more you get into it, I am on the last handful of missions for both Officer and Criminal and the car chases are a bit mental. Not a massive fan of the time-trial missions but still rate it as a game overall.

I really need to have a sit-down with Killzone 3 as only fired it up once to make sure the Move controller worked ok :o

Yeah, the time trials are a bit of a chore, especially with the cops where you get hit with time penalties if you bump into anything.

I love Hot Pursuit though, can't get enough of it. It's so exhilarating. The interceptors can be good as well, but they can be hard work at times.
