i don't think he was playing CS for those 3 years - plus my first edition half life disk says HALFLIFEFE 10 NOV 98 on the inside silver bit... i got the game on release.

You were playing CS when you were 10?

Sounds right though since like 9/10 cs players are under the age of 18.

nope, was playing half life when i was 10. Never really got into CS, was just pointing out his mistake. and yes, i believe the target audience for this type of game is around 13 to 31, or something aroung there. so there's no problem with < 18yo players

No problem, theres just a huge gap between maturity levels in lets say BF2 and CS?

Maybe its because Battlefield is more complex, more things to consider, infantry, vehicles, large scale maps, teamwork etc. CS is small maps and shoot, kill, die etc. And yeah I've played CSS like 2 years ago.

On consoles or in the arcade it has to be street fighter 2. For the pc championship manager as I'm already up to 4 days on fm07 and I dread to think how long I've spent on previous versions though on 02 I can remember geting up to about 2040.
