What games first got you into PC gaming ?

I recall playing Wolfenstein, Quake, Doom & Duke 3Dwhen I was younger but the first game that made me get into PC gaming properly was Half Life 1. I recall getting my TNT2 which could play the game in hardware mode - I loved it. :D
 
First proper PC game is either Doom or Command and Conquer. I played them on my parents PC but I mean that thing had like a 40gb HDD new so it was never going to last long.

Eventually I took an IT course at college which I failed miserably on due to our programming classes turning into HUGE Lan sessions of Unreal Tournament. After that wanted a gaming PC for a long time and eventually took the dip about 5-6 years ago! Seriously best thing I've ever bought.
 
First PC game I think I played was either 3d Sports Boxing (or something like that) or Life and Death - a surgery game, im sure this was around 1989-1990. We had a 286 off some sort and ive had a pc more or less constantly since then, 25 years.
 
DOOM, QUAKE (much lunchtime work fun) and Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein MP was the pinnacle of PC on-line play imo :) It has never been beaten.
 
Weren't the first I played, but the first set of games that really got me into PC gaming were:
-Championship Manager
-Doom 2
-Moraff's Dungeon
-Raptor
-NHL Hockey
 
A friend at school had a 386/MegaDrive combo-PC, don't know the exact specs/model but it was playing X-Wing at the time. Wasn't very powerful but got me hooked on PC gaming when I eventually got a Packard Bell p60.

Thinking back I wonder how it could've been if consoles/PCs merged with various built-in boards. :)

Oh and almost dropped out of college thanks to Championship Manager 2 and Duke Nukem 3d. :o

Used to play some games on my friend's 486, i honestly dont remember what. There was some football manager game. I remember Crusader No Remorse, a bunch of shareware games like Leisure Suit Larry and some other stuff. Then got my first PC, a P75! That was followed by a P3 650, and it went from there.

Now i barely use it.
