What games first got you into PC gaming ?

SWIV 3D
Age of Empires
Arkanoid
Some really old medieval top down game which I can't remember the name of

first pc game i can recall was a game called red baron, used to go and borrow a copy from our local library and played it on my dad's work pc [first computer in the street]

tbh though i mostly went with console gaming, have fond memories of spyro as a kid and ratchet and clank later on, would still follow that series.

my recent [return?] to the master race has to be skyrim, wasn't the main reason i built the rig but it was the first game i bought for it [and the only one on disc] after having sunk god knows how many hours into it on ps3.

I got a disc free with my first pc that had Driver and Ghost Recon on and I couldn't believe how good they looked. I borrowed Medal of Honor Allied Assault soon after which really got me into gaming.

Alleycat by IBM and NSnipes by Novell got me started, but what really locked me in was the likes of Eye of the Beholder and Wing Commander.

from as young as I can remember, games on the Sinclair spektrum zx2+ 128k ;) (still have it and it's the same age as me!!! father bought it the same year I was born :p )

can't even remember most of the games, we didn't have many but some family friends had other games so would play round each others houses :)

for FPS shooters, Quake, Doom, Unreal.

MMO, Ultima Online....think this was the very first game I played which interacted with other people :D

RTS - Command and Conquer Red Alert. Hell March still gives me goose bumps :p

but generally some earlier games I remember:
screamer
commander keen
duke nukem 1&2 (and then 3D a bit later on)
network Q vauxhall rally thing
Echo quest:search for cetus
Hugo adventure games
roadrash!
beneath a steel sky
simcity 2000
halflife

so many more I can picture but can't remember their names :(

( I've left out later titles as these were after I would have already considered myself suckered into gaming :p )

oh and who can forget the acorn school computers haha! educational games like "around the world in 80 days" well... maybe not educational.... but used your brain for puzzles n stuffs :D some impossible flight sim where you could take out enemies by just driving over their shadow :p some pacman rip off called ladybird xD

AND WHO CAN FORGET LEMMINGS?!?!?!?!?! :D:D:D:D school buddies and I loved getting to play on this when we were what.... 9ish years old in school :D

The first game I can remember playing was Choplifter on the Apple ][+. Then we got a ZX81. I've been gaming ever since.

First game i really played on PC was Age of Empires but very casual, then WoW came along and i was amazed by the whole game at the time in 2007 and i have been hooked on PC games ever since then.
