What games have you bought but never/barely played?

borderlands 2. after 3 hours I was bored to death

PS Bioshock 2 as well. liked (not loved) the first never got into the 2nd. didn't bother with Bio Infinite

I didn't really enjoy Bioshock 2 as much either, not sure why but it seemed far clunkier. :p Infinite was really good though and I'm tempted to start the DLCs this weekend.
 
my steam library is a constant surprise, I couldn't tell you when or where half the games came from.

Of the 250 or so games i own, I remember buying about 20% of them:confused:

When I buy a game, i always have good intentions to play through it, yet I seem to be easily distracted by newer shinier things.. ;)

Too many games to list really, but I've tried all of them atleast once (around 400 games in steam library)

Games I've spent very little time on though that should be noted:

Command and conquer 4 - tried to copy dawn of war 2 in direction, yet didn't pull it off at all. Ended up being a very poorly thought out game with a very confusing approach.

Prince of persia: the forgotten sands - The combat is truly woeful with 2 attacks and there are numerous graphical issues that stop me from playing it. Basically plays like an extremely primitive assassins creed game.

Bionic commando (remake) - terrible controls stop me from being able to actually get into this game, let alone enjoy it.

BRINK - woeful release that ran like crap and had deeply flawed gameplay. It'll never get installed again now that I have titanfall, which does everything brink had with far more finesse.

Arkham origins - played for around an hour, maybe slightly more, then I got to the deadeye fight which is basically an exercise in quick time button presses to win. No thanks...

Serious sam 3 - bloody terrible game that aimed for graphics over gameplay, failing miserably. Doesn't play anything like the original two and ranged enemies have 100% accuracy, making the harder difficulties nigh on impossible. Due to that, uninstalled and won't be touching again.

Excellent games that I intend to finish:

The incredible adventures of van helsing - picked this up in a steam sale and reminds me of diablo. Very nice graphics, excellent combat and decent storyline.

Bioshock infinite - I've finished this on normal when it was released, but restarted playing it on the 1999 mode, which is a pure test of patience it seems!
 
The one which still annoys me to this day...Rome Total War 2.

It could have been so great. But they went and cocked it up.

I have many "AAA" games in my Steam library that I've not yet touched.

Eg Max Payne 3, Far Cry 3, Crysis 3 (Origin), Fallout:NV, Tomb Raider (when the heck did I buy that??!) ... etc, etc, etc.

In fact I'm looking at my library and thinking "That must have been an impluse buy - I don't even like the look of that!" :p

[edit: oh and Dark Souls too, which I'd better get round to playing before GfWL kicks the bucket...]
 
I bought Civ V in one of the Steam sales a while back, loaded up the tutorial, fell asleep, woke back up and uninstalled it. Also I bought the complete collection of C&C games on Origin, I'd love to play though the stuff from RA2 backwards again but I just can't be bothered faffing about to make them work properly in Win 7, on a decent resolution, without crazy mouse acceleration. Looks like those games will just be consigned to my history bank now.
