Yeah that's my input to this pointless thread, There's always going to be the Nvidia vs Amd. The Nvidia boys will then state oohhh this forum is Amd biased blah blah blah,
The Amd boys will go into Nvidia threads and wind the Nvidia boys up. Nvidia boys will make threads on like throttling of 290's, Amd boys defend the reasons for the throttling outcome, the thread gets deleted. The thread is remade again.
Mantle thread is made, MANTLE THREAD IS GIVEN A NEW OWNER, Nvidia boys question the scaling of the benefits at the high end of pc hardware and direct x, purposely ignoring that mantle is about increasing cpu power more at the lower end of cpu spec, but also offering slight gains at the high end.

This is what I'm on about Suarez.

Who cares about Mr popular, Who cares what we own,

Please don't turn this thread into more of that gpu fanboy crap, see enough of that in other threads. Its been pretty good up until now, with a few notable exceptions.

Sorry Matt, but I don't see the point in this thread, apologies.

Get some real data on mantle vs direct x instead ;)

All in good time Dave. Once i get a working driver for Crossfire ill be on it quicker than you can say gpu snobbery. :D

Where Price:Performance ratio knowledge is known and mining is done, i would expect AMD to be up top.
Where the average gamer is concerned, i would expect nVidia.

edit: Steam survey shows:
nVidia: 52.01%
AMD/ATi: 31.36%
Intel: 16.25%
Other: 0.38%

Just a small sample size i know, but a lot of my friends have amd cards and a lot of them never use steam at all. So although a lot of people do use stream, theres also a fair few (for both sides im sure) that don't use it so even that is not likely showing the whole picture.
