cant really tell

going to be nigh impossible to tell just from that screenshot. I can't even make out the label on the fan. Is that the only shot you have ?

well it's going to be nvidia because pny are an nvidia partner (afaik). possibly a 5/6 series agp card?

ah PNY, yes I see it now. I agree on the 6000 series AGP I think. The RAM heatsinks on the top and down the side tend to indicate larger capacity, so possibly a 256MB card.

Looks like a 5900. Not an Ultra, too few capacitors.

reason i ask is its up on ebay from someone who openly admits they know nothing about computers for a tenner

so much so they just referred to it "as the bit the monitor plugs into"

dont think its a 5900. they have the ram arranged around the core in 4 groups of two chips @ ~22degree intervals. you'll see what i mean if you google a 5900.

i dunno what it is. ive gone through every model i can think of lol

I reckon its a ti4200 or less, doesnt even have the older 3pin or 4pin molex.

I think you might be right.. i remember becuase they where one of the few cards at the time to have DVI.. (only certain brands IIRC..) and the ram was arranged like that.. 4 chips. 2 above 2 beside..

Id say it was a GF3 Ti200 or 500. Cant they read the label on the back?

Defo one of them, though the one up top looks like it's got a DVI socket as well.
