Currently have a degree and working on my honours right now. Have a level two license for power boats. Have a great girlfriend. I think i have a lot more to come in the next few years though. Hopefully a decent honours pass, i'm going to be doing my motobike test in the summer as well as starting some flying lessons, which i can't wait for!

i got up this morning............ no sorry, afternoon actually it wasn't morning.

Thats a massive achievement for me anyhow:eek:. Although sitting in bed knowing the rest of the house have gone to work or uni gives me a nice warm smug feeling inside which feels a little bit like achievement :D.

Getting over a highly limiting depression/fear. It's complex, but I'm so happy I've beat it.

My goals are to dump broadcasting as a career move - i'm in the last few months of my broadcasting degree and absolutely hating it. My overall goal is to get into a career of IT - it's where my confidence lies. Unfortunately, only took it as far as a B grade GCSE...

lets see im 16 i have flown solo in a glider, passed my full license in amateur radio at the age of 14, got my 1 + 2 star awards for kayaking, completed bronze and silver d of e and in the process of gold, im captain of my school volleyball club, i fink thats pretty good going considering im only 16 :) flown several aerobatic manoevers in a light aircraft

County level schoolboy rugby.
Failed A levels, so joined merchant navy
Ended up in command of very large crude oil tankers
Changed direction to port operations and then deepwater oil production
Big house, salary, beautiful wife, but not happy. I suppose that is my karma. Maybe should have spent less time on my career. I don't think I have ever achieved a good life/work balance. Maybe later.

Edit: Was a fanatical hang-glider pilot for 7-8 years. Flew in some of the most extreme conditions imaginable.

Other than academic achievements, not a huge amount. I have some true friends but I tend to attribute that to their strengths, rather than to mine.

Have a beautiful girlfriend (will be the wife in 5 weeks)
Beautiful baby daughter (8 months old)
Have a degree in Business Studies (no student loan, just overdraft)
Have a nice job.
Grade 2 Qualified FA Football Coach
Judo Black Belt
Represented my country in Judo
and hopefully within the next 3 weeks do the domestic treble in my counties sunday morning football league.

When I was 15, I bowled Viv Richards out when the West Indies played the Minor Counties at Cricket. I was in the under 16s team, and they let us bowl at them for an hour before the match.

I also bowled out Tom Moody the following year when Australia played the Minor counties.

Plus, my Mum's mate from school married Tom Selleck. Thats cool. LOL

I was also part of the team which launched the Euro currency in Coin and note form when I worked for the European Central Bank.

And my favourite...I held the 'calculating Prime to 8m places the quickest for an AMD processor' 2 summers ago. I held the record for Superpi 8m for 6 weeks, until Tom @ XS took it. :(

Lets see,

Lasted through the not so good years while my father was still around. Did my bit to look after my Mum and Little sis when he left. Stayed at school and clear of drugs and crime when a lot of my "friends" didn't. Got myself 2 B and 5 C grade GCSEs. Got a job 2 days after my 16th birthday.

Applied and was accepted into the RAF at age 17, passed recruit training with a perfect 100% score on all the tests and exams, both physical and mental. Worked my way through trade training and passed with top marks. Since then I've done nearly 8 years service and in that time I've taken part in every operation the UK Armed forces has been involved in in one form or another. Recieved commendations for my efforts both in the UK and in theatre. I've done things many people in the RAF havent had the chance to do.

Also, I've taught myself how to build and maintain a PC and how to service and repair a car. I've bought myself a lot of things I always wanted with my own money that I worked hard for. Had a lot of damn nice girlfriends, and I've got a lot of very good mates.

I've not done the best by a long shot and I've still got a lot I want to do, but I'm pretty proud of myself so far. :D
