What have you done to your car today?

Must be wrong, if you have a cat and silencer then I don't see how it's possible to be that loud. My nissan was 109 or 110 with a full straight pipe turbo-back on it and let me tell you it was incredibly loud, you couldn't hear yourself think.

A wee bit of green, will be on the car in a couple of weeks:

Absolutely love the results and colour, proper camera does a better job but in the flesh they look 10x better, can't wait to get them on, will look ace behind the wheels. :)

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago - it is indeed soul destroying but not much you can do

There's always something with a new car, just sometimes it's a bit more extreme!

Put a complaint in to the dealer about some (well, lack of) work on the gfs Mini. Let's see how this plays out...

Well...would you believe it. Part of the complaint was about the service department never calling back aaaaaaaaaaand they haven't called back.

.
You and anyone else in it ok bud?

Yes , and its not much damage really, only slight rear bumper damage. Could have been a lot worse I suppose. Just really not what you want driving home after collecting a car!

Sorry, might have made it sound worse than it is, but I was still pretty upset :(

To be fair, any damage no matter how minor on a new car is gutting. Hope you get everything sorted as it was.
When I fist picked up my current car there was a hidden pot hole on the exit of the industrial estate, I hit it and scuffed the underside of the bumper. Could have cried.

When I picked up my new car the first road I drove on had just been 'resurfaced' and had all the gravel out, I drove at 5mph down that road and annoyed everyone. not nearly as bad as you lot though :(

About 2-3 weeks after I swapped my old, somewhat rusting Mazda3 for an immaculate 18 month old Leon FR, someone in a car park (either outside my flat or at work) decided my front passenger side bumper/wing would look better with some of their car's white paint transferred to it.

Many a swear word was said that day.

It's done and back. I paid £320 for whole front end blended into doors and A-Pillars and he did my mirror caps also.

Can't see a colour difference and the finish is good, so pretty happy with that! I wasn't expecting a lot but wanted to tidy the car up but he's done a great job for the money. Send me a message via trust for the Companies name/contact info, a place in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent :)

EDIT. Not had time to take pics and it's dirty now, but a couple out of the paint shop. No stand out differences I can see :)

Looks in better nick than mine!

I've not followed why you're back in an Astra though....

I test drove a 1.8 but it didn't hit the spot for me.

Had a bit of a play with an E93 M3 earlier on my way home from picking the Mazda up from my parents. Surprising to both of us he couldn't close the gap at all.
