What have you learnt this week?

You can get to Watford and back using an Oyster Card.
We have a nice female GP. ;)
IE8 was set not to save encrypted pages to disk.
 
TBH ive not learned it this week, but it has been re-enforced during the week

1) People will do a lot to avoid a confrontation (even non-violent ones)

2) Asking a room of people for their opinions is stupid. Also, if there is work of any kind to be done which envolves a lot of people (3 or more) asking them what they think should be done is stupid.

3) There is only rise and fall, if your not winning your loosing.

1. Configuration of PAM password complexity settings on SLES 11.
2. Working from home is boring and you miss hearing the team next to yours throwing their rattles out of their prams.
3. Never trust a network change.
 
1. That the planned update to our database system is not as big or scary as previously feared.
2. That the view from the 27th floor in our building is awesome.
3. There is no better start to a day off than drinking tea and reading the papers in a warm kitchen.
4. Demon's Souls on the PS3 is ridiculously hard.
 
Monster enery drink is 2 for 1 at Morrisons, drinking both at lunchtime when you've been ill all week (or not I haven't tried) is not a good idea.
 
Not so much learned this week, but had confirmed.

1. World is full of idiots.
2. No matter how much you try, there's always something to screw your day up just round the corner.
3. Most forum posters have a mental age below 14
