What Headphones have you got

Depends what you're willing to spend, my recommendation would be Sennheisers of some description...

Very cheap £10-20~ HD201 / HD457

£30-£35 - HD215 / HD465

£50 - HD555

~£100 - HD595

Every pair of Sennhesiers I have used have been brilliant. I have the HD201s atm, I really want to get the HD465s or HD555 though.

I have the HD555's :D They are brilliant

I use some Sennheiser HD585's for general use

I also have a pair of USB Sennheiser HD155 iirc.

The 585's pee all over any other headphones I have used, they are ultra comfy, have replaceable cables shame it has no mic, but I can getmyself a tie mic or a standalone desktop one :)

Mate of mine has these, they are quite nice and he tested them to work at a distance of 40-50 metres! Who knows, maybe further but his garden isn't bigger

Sennheiser PC150. First pair the microphone stopped working after I dropped them a few times. It was about a year after I bought them I think (maybe a bit less) and I managed to get a free replacement pair from Sennheiser within a week of sending them off. Definitely recommend Sennheisers of any description.

Some £15 speedlinks atm, but just had some £3 ones delivered that seem excellent for the money. I break headphones quite regularly (although I haven't for a while now *touch wood*) so not worth me spending a lot on them.

Some utterly rubbish Phillips open air's a few years back.

Then IXOS DJ1001's which I'm using atm as my Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro's died a few days back.

I'm waiting for my Audio Technica ATH A900's to arrive in the next few days. I can't wait!!

Sennheisers are defos the best :D had my pc150's for about 2 years now. still flawless sound quality and the directional aspect of the sound is amazing too. my brother bought some medusa ones, full 5.1 headphones etc. and he thought they were good. he then borrowed mine for a Lan and when he came home was telling me how much better mine were =)

If you just want a budget headset I went for the Medusa Speed Link, using standard stereo jacks (not USB) but from what I'm told by the people I talk to on SKYPE its very good quality, not used it in game but can't see how it would be any worse. Can get them for £14.99
