Hi chaps, I am after adding some what I consider basic functionality to my iPhone.

The SMS is a little too simple, to be able to forward a message from one person to another would be useful.

Also, are the 3rd party MMS app's any good?

I've uninstalled a few Apps via Installer then the Uninstall tab.
Is that all I have to do to completely erase it off the phone?

Yep. Although some things can't be uninstalled cleanly, such as the BSD subsystem; but most normal apps are fine.

I've got the latest beta version of SMSD working on my 1.1.4

Found it after a good google session off a French repository on installer.

Prefer SMSD way over iSMS anyday
