Does anyone have some samples of drum and bass i can hear please?

I'm sure the bus driver was playing it today on the way back from college, it sounded great but i've never really known what real drum and bass is.

Slam was a breath of fresh air for the scene when Andy C started regularly dropping it years ago but i just find it very annoying now and cant bare to listen to it.

Pendulum make great dancefloor tracks but as a bit of a purist i think that drum and bass should stay in grotty basement clubs filled with skinny sweating pillheads. pendulum are a bit too happy. i like my beats grimey.

that said, painkiller is a great track and i stuck it on the minute i saw this thread

can't stand MCing though. i had an AndyC mix i ended up trashing because some muppet was MCing over it the whole way. shame because there was some awesome tunes
