What is the best C&C game?

RA2 ***. Although I used to play it for hours on 4 player LAN and one of my mates won every time, he truly was the master of the tank rush!

Can't understand how anyone liked Tib Sun. Didn't NOD win every time with stupidly overpowered long range artillery?
 
red alert 1 imo :) just something about those russians thats sucks you in :p and the terrible acting in the cut scenes :D
 
Red Alert 2/YR. Easily the best of the lot. Best story as well.

Generals with the Shockwave mod is quite good as well, and just recently I've quite gotten into Tiberium Wars. But still RA2 remains unparalleled in terms of sheer entertainment.
 
RA1 for a couple of reasons:

1) The original "Hell March". Epic track.
2) The cutscenes. RA2's descend into camp. RA1's manage not to. That might just be rose-tinted glasses, mind.

They just don't put the effort in now a days ;)
 
RA1 was the daddy but its hard to choose as Yuri was just as much fun in MP AI got better as the games progressed.

I realy do wish i could get dos box to play RA1 better than 10fps as i would play it to death!
 
C&C original for me, followed by RA.

The original was just so good. Epic storyline, awesome cut scenes, and one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.
 
The original Red Alert was the one I truly loved, how can you not get sucked in by that intro? :)

I didn't like the original C&C much once I learnt about the sandbag bug.
