My 6870 handles NS2 just fine on near max settings, I've played much more demanding games.

I'm on mostly high at 1680x1050 and fps drops around 35 or so during intense combat, I have a 560 gtx

35 fps isnt great but it hardly equals a extremely demanding game. I was playing it with similar fps earlier and felt smooth enough to play adequately.

Apart from Crysis, Metro has been the most demanding game i've owned. Still don't know why it was so hardcore to run.

Actually my crysis 3 graphics settings defaulted to maxed out settings and the game was a near slideshow like that.

Not sure why though because crysis 2 on the same settings was playable.
