I'm not talking about Stereograms either.
I'm watching Class Of 92 and virtually every still picture they show has got this technique where the people have been masked and the camera moves slowly producing a 3D effect.
What amazes me is that (eg) they could be standing in front of a tree on a 2D picture but this hardware/software somehow manages to show more of the tree (mind blown).
I've obviously seen this before but can only now be bothered to ask how it's done/what it's called.
