WHAT!!! is this a **** take, GX2 could be $700+

the NVIDIA will be priced more than likely around £450, it is as someone said basically two 8800GTS with onboard SLI, cards designed like this don't really do too great, remember the 7950GX2, was fast but was it twice as fast as 7950GT, i don't think it was, however there is a LOT of hope for the 3870X2, read a while back about the sapphire X2600X2 (two 2600 series) and in most tests it was actually more than 100% faster than a single X2600, which is impressive considering they were £125 or so, double 2600 is that closing in on the 2900? plus they only used a single six pin power connector, so based on that im guessing the 3870X2 will be very fast card, maybe even faster than two 3870s in crossfire :)

We are not saying that a product costing $400 there costs £400 here. If that were the case it WOULD make financial sense to buy from the states.

suggest you check walmart website tbh :) wasnt that long ago i was browsing and our £300 laptops were £200 on there, handy if you're plannin trips to america or have a friend/family going. I was doing that but they had nothin in stock that were suitable specs ;(

Monitors are same too, the 24" acer one thats kickin about cheap now was about £190 on walmart over summer

=) idd, there £300 laptops were soo much better than the ones avail to us, you could get 7150chipset dual cores with a gb of ram for £280 or sumthin, whilst we were being offered single core semprons with god knows what, or intel singlecores with gma950s, both 512s =/

come on Nvidia show us your real next gen part.

They will when AMD gets their fingers out their asses and shows us theirs, its their fault we aint got the next gen Nvidia, the 9 series should have been released last year, but with no competition for their 8 series, they didn't bother, so now Nvidia's pushing everything back, their next gen is now middle of this year, or whenever AMD's next (R700) appears, its total crap now thanks to AMD, no new cards for well over a year, 9 series over a year old and they aint even released yet, were all running 9800's now, most of us have been since November 2006 ffs. :(
