I think it’s fair to challenge the woke broke tag but being fair, Panther was soft booted in the third of the cap films and was the film directly preceding Infinity Wars, not exactly heavy lifting. It was competent not excellent and did well. Captain Marvel was shoehorned after the initial filming completed into Endgame and directly preceded that movie. They couldn’t have been more certain or favourable set ups possible. Now Panther was Afro focussed but not really woke. Captain Marvel was your usual woke Mary Sue wet dream and divided fans but had enough momentum that it could never fail.
The odd woke movie may not sink the franchise certainly not when it was all conquering as the MCU. But other movies dubbed woke like Charlie’s Angels and Ghostbusters (the crap one) tanked.

We’re just at cross purposes on that, maybe my description didn’t come across well. I was aware Captain Marvel was made after Endgame. I was trying to get across they even reshot bits of a Endgame just to include her. Thus making her film a more ironclad certainty.
Right, so I don't think you actually disagreed with my initial point at all, which was exactly that I suspect that very few people were inclined or willing to boycott those companies.

This is the thing, given how knife crime amongst the black community has skyrocketed why would anyone regardless of ethnicity have any issue with the met increasing certain policing such as stop and search targetting the particular demographic in qquestion. Again, rather than whinging about supposed systemic racism maybe communities need to address knife crime within their own communities? As usual rather than look within they would rather point to external factors that have zero bearing on the issue at hand.

Well yeah we know certain groups are a bit stabby and tend to murder people a lot. Its not to say that everyone who shares some of their ethnicity does, but the numbers are the numbers

No one is suggesting that everyone of that ethnicity does, but if one demographic is responsible for a surge in a certain type of crime then focus the attention there. I'd say the same if it was whites, browns or whatever. Then again being seen as not being racist is more important than tackling crime these days, sad times.

Maybe the police should just make sure they stop the right proportion of each ethnicity and wait for the complaints about the rise in crime that results from not focusing on the groups that are statistically causing most of the problems. More dead people but at least they haven't been profiled eh.

I think racism will become more powerful, just as you want. It's not a new thing in itself. The amount of lying and political skill involved in ptomoting racism is at a new high, but the fundamental principles of racism are nothing new. Your side might have the fastest degree of success in promoting racism, but they might not. There's some stiff competition from other ideologies of racism and authoritarianism.
I think some who have promoted some sort of "British/ English/ white exceptionalism" when it comes to racism and intolerance will be in for a rude awakening when those "old man gammon's" are greatly reduced in number.
A lot of the people who are entering the country often have rather different views when it comes to cultural matters especially tolerance of others.
I expect we might see more overt white identarian movements though.
If all non white people are going to increasing coalesce into racial identitarianism then more "whites" are likely to follow suit.
