Well with Black history month, Islam history month and now your British history month it leaves nine more available. Ill assume we would have to have a Welsh History month (well a day) and Scottish history month, Irish history month (that will probably be a bit anti English) and Im fairly sure after that the Cornish lot will want one too.

I seriously think we should have a London history couple of months because lets face it without London the rest of the country would be ******.

You could say much the same about people who ignore morality, ethics and honesty . . . although I am quite sure that this does not in any way apply to Trump, Johnson, etc. ;)
 
We'll definitely need a "Christian history month". Do you think Protestants and Catholics will be ok sharing a month or should they each have their own month to avoid any arguments.....

The issue you have is it erases the values of the Country by projecting all other apparent history.
The black history is in Africa, there no black history in the UK. ?
Nothing that was a critical point in time, changed a narrative or advanced people into modern ways. It’s just sport and information. Nothing overly historic.
I find strange that we are not so respecting of other peoples identity anymore. The Marxists want to eliminate all forms of identity. It’s not a pretty place this is heading.

Thats white privilage right there my friend. Its not quite the same as what have the Romans ever done for us but its close.

There are only 12 months in the calendar so soon groups will have to either learn to share or start fighting over ownership of them :D

Maybe we could roll them all into one big Insecure Minority Month. We could all speak to them in the way people talk to babies, pat them on the head, and tell them we'll put their drawing on the fridge so everyone can see how clever they are.

I don't want to put words into @Skunkworks mouth, but I assume that he is saying BLM has gone from a pressure group for the non white part of our population to representing a smaller part even than that. Other minorities need not apply, go and form your own splinter group.

That is harsh Tony. Well I am sorry you feel that way. That was not my intention. But alas it is factual information.

The black community immigrated to Europe or there through slave trade. Sadly. There is no actual history in the UK I am aware off. Europe is different in some slight aspect, to call it history is slightly misleading and somewhat oppressive to actual history that factually took place and shaped the place.

Im sorry. Wasn’t an insult or of such. It’s a consequence of rewriting history that took place and structured the environment and society you see in each place. That is why each place is different. Because it is history and how it evolved on its own unique path to modern day.
Otherwise, you are ignoring identity. Which starts the road to communism.

Black history month is about black people (and others that might be interested) to showcase black history. Its sort of like know your culture week. Its about empowerment, its letting black children and people know that they arent just a useless ******.

I think you may have the wrong idea about history. Its not just wars, but things people do and did through history.

Did you know for instance there was a black British police man in 1835 to 1846? Now that might not mean anything to you but to a black person its history. Its about the achievements of black people through history.

What I find strange is people are up in arms about something that really doesnt involve them if they dont want it. Its not mandatory for you to take notes or anything.

It’s not surprising that people who’ve only been here in any significant numbers for 3 generations haven’t made much of an impact yet. So whoever demanded that their contributions be put under the spotlight* scored an embarrassing own goal of err yeah here’s a black guy driving a bus!

*Probably some white-saviour Tony Edwards type
