What is wrong with my Samsung 840 PRO?

Just installed the new Samsung Magician 4.3, did the benchmark and it is hideous compared to the previous bench a few months ago. Nothing has changed except the software, 4.2.* to 4.3!

Is it dying?! I really hope not!

What's the rest of your system?

Latest mb BIOS? In ahci mode? On Intel SATA 3 speed ports?

Nothing has changed at all since the previous benchmarks. Only the latest Windows Updates, nothing running during bench etc.

i5 2500k @ 5ghz
GTX690
Samsung PRO 240
16GB DDR3 Black Edition
etc
It is on the right ports, MB bios is the same as it was before, overclock is 100% stable for last 8 months.

HD TUNE PRO shows read speed average 420MB/s, no errors, no bad blocks, I am guessing it must be the 4.3 Magician software?

errr - sure you ran it on your SSD and not your HDD?

Only other thing it could be is a background process was running (I get poor results when Lync and Outlook are running in the background )

Yeah on the SSD.
Dayz is running really sloppy too. Going to revert back.
