What is your absolute favourite track of all time?

Oooo...difficult one this.

Maybe "No Quarter" by Zeppelin or possibly "Anthem" by Rush...or maybe "Tom Sawyer"...or no, wait "Passage to Bangkok".

Ah hell, I dunno!

I used to do those 3 Rush songs in a Medley along with 2112, Bastille Day & Spirit Of Radio.

Cant believe someone else picked Radiohead - How to disappear completely! its in my top 3 for sure!

Also love r.e.m. - why not smile. I don't know why but it just sends waves of emotion through me, its a simple song but it blows my mind everytime I listen to it.

Some brilliant choices in this thread! Quite tempted to make a Spotify playlist for the drive home based on the choices here :)

Clannad was one of the first bands I got into, and this song (Theme from Harry's Game) still has the ability to send a shiver down the spine.

a-ha Take on Me... This brings back my first meetings with girls and all the feelings that went with it :o

Its so tough deciding what your favorite song of all time is.
But i would have to choose anything by Slade.

I saw them a couple of times in the early 70s and then on the comeback tour around 1980.
Still one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen and I've seen a few.

It's not even that good. In it's day it was, but at the time of hearing it. Let say it was the first time I experimented.. It left a lasting impression that I will never forget.

Telegraph Road by Dire Straits. Basically as it's tied to my only proper memory of my Dad before he disappeared.
Emotional stuff aside it's a bloody incredible song!
