What is your earliest memory?

I was so. I captured an entire Nazi regiment and brought them all back to Blighty for a jolly-good talking to.

First Happy memory was of my 3rd Birthday I think. It was getting a Space 1999 Shuttle with detachable cargo hold and having aparty with all my mates.

Im sure there are others if I think hard enough

Earliest memory for me is walking up a street in Clovelly, Devon, I was about 2 at the time. All I can remember is walking up the street crying for my mum who was ahead of me :(

this may explain a lot to a lot of people.

i walked in on my brother being born at home when i was 2 and a half. that's my earliest memory

Holding back the years,
Thinking of the fear I’ve had for so long.
When somebody hears,
Listen to the fear that’s gone.
Strangled by the wishes of pater,
Hoping for the arm of mater,
Get to me sooner or later,

Nothing ever could, yeah.
I’ll keep holding on,
I’ll keep holding on,
I’ll keep holding on,
I’ll keep holding on.

Mine is of winter 1987 in a pushchair walking up the road with my mum and my older sister. My sister was in the first year of primary school. I remember the cold and the wind blowing snow through the air. And I was naming the makes of every single car on the way up the road.

My earliest funny memory is stripping naked and running into a fountain in a town square somewhere in Portugal. I have a picture upstairs where I'm just getting my shorts off and two other kids and my sister pointing..and me with a cheeky grin :D

From when I was 4, one of my brothers had upset me so I got his favourite teddy bear, placed it under the grill and started cooking it. My mum came running into the kitchen when she realised and got the teddy out, I was in a bit of trouble for using the grill. Still find it funny though, plus i think the (now crispy) bear is still around somewhere in my brothers old room :D

My earliest memory I can remember was when I lost my toy monkey (imaginatively named "monkey") at Shugborough Hall. (think I was about 3) I was absolutely gutted, never found it. (even though Dad tried the old replacement trick and saying he turned up again!)

Making a marmalade and tomato ketchup sandwich, taking a bite then hiding the rest as it was disgusting so my mother wouldn't tell me off for wasting brown bread...
