I can't think back that far!

I went from a PowerVR card to a 3Dfx, Voodoo was in there somewhere.
8800 GT ? I still have that sitting here.
6950
670
1060

I owe other gpus but sadly they have never seen a game yet. But its tempting.

Various S3 cards
nVidia GeForce GT 1030 (HTPC) *current*

Since I've been interested in building PC's...

GeForce 5200 - Christ this card was bad, came with a pre-built PC. Was so slow, tried doing some soft mods on it to increase performance but it was terrible regardless
GeForce 6800LE - This card was nearly as bad, came with another pre-built PC that I had to buy as a last minute replacement as I killed my other one 2 days before uni. At this point I didn't feel confident enough to build my own
GeForce 6800GT - Bought this as a cheap upgrade, good old student loan money
ATi X1800XT - I remember this card blowing my mind when I got it, my first "high end" card that I got on release. Kept it for ages
GeForce 8800GTS
*Lost interest in PC Gaming so a big gap here*
GeForce 1070

S3 Trio64 - in an Amstrad Integra PC
ATi Xpert 98 - Fujitsu tower
Geforce Ti4200 - went in first PC that I built from the ground up rather than modifying/upgrading an existing one
Geforce FX5700 Ultra - good little card for the money at the time
ATi 9600 - bought as a stop-gap when the FX5700 died due to overclocking-related stresses
Geforce FX5950 Ultra - lucked out, it was a good chunk off retail price. The only time that I ever owned the top performing card of a generation
Geforce 6800GT - great card, ran everything I threw at it. Sold it to a mate, who I didn't realise was running a terrible PSU in his PC. It lasted three weeks before that PSU killed it.
ATi HD4850 - had this for about 6 months, got rid for the next card due to ATi Linux driver performance being unacceptably bad
Geforce 650ti - still own, been in several PCs
ATi HD5750 - good card, but ATi drivers were always an issue
Geforce 750ti - best price-performance card I ever bought
Geforce 1060 3GB - I jumped on this when they were still hovering around the £180 mark. Wasn't many days before they shot up in price, very glad I got in when I did

This was a tough one to answer as I can barely remember the cards I had going back to '97 when I built my very first PC, but this is as close as I can get to my GPU history.

ATI 3D Rage
3DFx Voodoo 2
GeForce 256
GeForce 2 Ti
Radeon 9800 XT
Radeon X800 XT
Radeon X1900 XT
Radeon X2900 XT
Radeon HD 4870
Radeon HD 5870
Radeon HD 6970
Radeon HD 7970
Radeon R9 290X
Radeon Vega 56

Things have certainly come a long way since I started with a measly 8mb Vram on my ATi 3D Rage :D

I've also built PCs for other people (mostly my dad lol) with various GeForce cards due to driver issues with the software he used but I prefer Radeons myself, in case you can't tell

Looks like I am not the only person who abandoned team green after their GeForce 2 fiasco.....

difficult to remember..

8086 - some generic VGA adaptor.
486sx 25 - again, some generic SVGA adaptor
486DX4 100 - hercules 1mb PCI thing, then I tagged a voodoo 2 off a mate and hoyed it in, best thing ever at the time :)
Pentium 200 - i think it had a cirrus logic 2mb, not sure (i'd given the voodoo 2 back after uni, or it broke, can't remember)
Athlon 2200+ - 9800 Pro
Athlon 3200+ - 6800GT SLI, then a 7800GT
i5-750 (current) - HD 5870, now r9 390.

I'd totally forgotten about the 8800GTS until I was going through emails just now looking for old orders!

I usually always have 2 pc's running, right now it's 4. My machine, my wifes, the HTPC/LAN, the old HTPC/Streaming machine.
Also it's a hobby of mine to test different grahics cards, and I resell them when they still got some value to cover the next purchase.

I see no Radeon HD 4890 in your list. Very weird

I think I saw almost every brand of graphics card in your list that I'd ever heard of. Don't know how you managed to keep track... I was digging through my emails for receipts and I've only had a fraction of your list ;)

When the HD4890 was released (2009) I already had GTX 280 (2008) so I felt performance wise it would just be side stepping going for a HD4890 :)

I started keeping track of them all in 2005, and I have since kept a list for everything I thrown in my PC's. I'd wish I would have done the same for CPU's. It might be I one day will sit down and do a brainstorm trying to remember which ones I had - not as many as the graphics cards though.
The Intel Pentium III 600MHz, AMD Athlon XP1700+ JIUHB, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 are some CPUs I remember being very fond of.
