What is your highest credit card limit?

call me old fashioned....but we don't have any.....rule in our house is...if we don't have the money in the bank...then we don't buy it.

Credit Card ?
Last time I checked my bank balance it was enough not to need credit

Many people dont use credit cards to spend money they dont have,

It just offers cashback and much better security along with flexibility to pay what you spent in a months time, improving your cash-flow greatly.

For example Amex, provides me with a lot of benefits something a normal debit card wont do... Shame you cant use it everywhere and their foreign rates are horrible... Hence I have halifax Clarity, amazing little thing... you can do money-laundering with this thing :D just not big sums.

6k on an Amex (cashback credit card not chargecard).

Pay it off every month. It's nice to have a bit of the extra protection that using a credit card gives over a debit card.

it frightens me, how much I have in Credit cards, I have 4.

all are cleared and pay them off each month, credit scoring brownie points

Enough to cover me for about 3 months worth of normal spending, I pay off the full balance each month anyway so it doesn't matter.

Around £1500 nowhere near as bad as it used to be I had a combined limit of north of 30k back in my teens in the 90s back when banks where happy to give anyone that could sign their name a five figure cc

£200. Proper annoying - always running out of credit and having to top it up mid-month if I buy anything vaguely pricey, but then but it still comes in handy. As it's my first credit card and I am a student can't complain too much I guess.
