What is your iPhone battery health (and how old)?

I often use my 65w Dell laptop charger to charge my iPhone 15 PM via USB-C. The phone charges so fast this way, however if you are using it at the same time as charging it can get quite hot. I'm guessing the fast charging and heat would contribute to a more rapid degradation of the battery? It is super convenient though!

My 15 Pro Max is on 98% after 9 months and 151 cycles and it’s spent most of its life on 80% charge limit.

My wife’s is still at 100% and she’s got something like 180 charge cycles and it’s never had the 80% limit enabled either. Don’t think I’ll be bothering with it anymore.

My release day 13 pro just dropped to 89% after being at 90% for about a year. I wonder if this is the beginning of the rapid decline to September :D

That's interesting.

Just checked the wife’s 15 pro Max bought December. 130 cycles and 98%. Poor show that

Same phone and 161 cycles here, still on 100%. I don’t plug my phone in every night and have switched between 80% limit and optimised battery charging depending on my need. Phone manufactured August 2023, first use September 2023.
