What ISP you using?

Zen Maxdsl and to be honest, I would only consider changing to a decent LLU service should one arise at my exchange as Zen have been great :)
Ditto.

My exchange is due to be unbundled in May 2007 and I will then have to decide whether to go down the LLU route or not.

May I ask why?

Kinda curious as I thought Zen were the daddies?

Bit of a long story, suffice to say their 1st line techies know less than the average punter on here.

What ISP are you using?

Freedom to surf

Do you like it?

It's Alright, I've got 32 routable IPs :D, and I get a discount ;)

If you wanted to change, who would it be too?

Not sure I want to bother changing & don't know if other providors wil give me that many routable IPs

Tiscali max which is running at 4.8Mb which ain't bad as i'm a few miles from the exchange.
Never had any problems with them

SkyBB

SkyBB - Running at 12mb. Absolutely awsome, lightning fast service and only £10 a month!!

Really really happy with it so far, despite what other people may have said about it!

Be internet.

Was a rough start, took almost a month to switch from nildram, but its has improved since I first joined about a year ago almost, when they 1st started taking trialists. get a pretty stable 10-12mb down connection and a nice 1.2mb up. Hardly ever have a connection problem these days, maybe had 1 in the last 2 months and it was fixed by the next morning. Only real downer is the India Support lines, their not bad but it would be nice to talk to someone who lives in the same country for once who you can relate too more :)

Although I am tempted by Sky BB, saving £10/pm would be nice, but am afriad it might be too much trouble with mixed reports i'm seeing.

1. NTL 10meg.
2. Yes, it owns all in the ping department.
3. Knowone as i have been with NTL for years and they have been Superb.

Nildram 2 or 3 yrs now i get the full 8meg well 7200 any way lol

never had any problems

part from 1 and that had note to do with nildram bt doing something at the exchange

AOL 2mb Gold, only been with them since June as i migrated away from Tosscali as they started their traffic shaping etc..., never had any problems with them at all so far, no restrictions, nothing, always get my max speeds 24/7, and i must have downloaded the whole of the internet by now, and its still going strong with no restrictions. :D

So its AOL, Love it, and if i wanted to change (which i don't) then id probably look at IDNet, as ive heard some very good things about them. :)

Do you like it? Yeah, been the best i've used so far
If you wanted to change, who would it be too? Not sure, who ever can provide a good faster service.

NTL 10mb
Couldnt ask for anything more from a net connection, constant full speed downloads (server permitting at 1.2mb/sec), constant sub 20 pings with no packet loss etc, unlimited useage and ive had about 2 outages in the 5 years ive been using them.
Wouldnt swap it for anything. Unbeatable for £25 a month.

NTL 4MB. I was with Wanadoo (Now known as Orange) 2MB before, and BT dialup before that. BT cut me off because of high usage, and I left Wanadoo due to my distance from the phone exchange (CONSTANT connectivity problems and disconnections on 2MB, was fine on 1MB).

So far no major problems on 4MB with NTL, cable 4tw ADSL 4tl in my case :).

Wait until carphone warehouse crap it all up for you :p

been with them for what seems like ages, and hand on heart, i've never had ANY issue with them. It's always worked well, which is the main thing for me, as things like that would make me want to punch a hole through my monitor. Its not the fastest, at 2mb, and im currently looking for another isp, as nowadays i should be able to get faster speeds that are just as reliable for *** same price. I download a fair bit, and they've never bitched about my usage, would upgrade my speed with them, but i'd have to get the hub, and i've been warned to stay away at all costs.

If they do i'll be off, but its been said that it isn't going to change, will still be AOL ran by the same ppl, no change to the contracts, no FUP's, shaping etc... all that will change is the money goes to CW, the deal isn't supposed to be finalized till 31st December, so ill wait till then, but as i said if they do change anything then its bye, bye, simple. :)

You dont have to use the hub and you dont have to have it when you regrade. You can keep the equipment you already got.

eclipse for over 3 years now been bit carpy last few weeks but picked up this week proberly cos half the customers gone to aquiss lol
