Yeah, same here. I have a pair of Levis 501 jeans where the crotch area has worn away but the rest of them are fine

They lasted a few years.

The crotch is usually the first place to go because it rubs when walking. Don't forget that you can get the crotch repaired to save on buying new jeans.
