The last week or so ive been getting bites around my ankles and feed (And the odd one on my arm)

They look like mosqitoe (sp?) bites, and they are painfully ichy, will be fine most of the time and then all of a sudden they will all be iching like crazy to the point im scratching so much they bleed..

So does anyone know what the hell is biting me, can i nuke them from orbit, and how to i make the iching go away :(

If needed i could upload pics of my manky feet :p

I dont know, i can never feel any pain when i get bit, an extra one will just appear then abit later ill be scratching the hell out of it

*edit

I dont think its bed bugs, as my partner has never been biten =\

Do you sleep with your bedroom window open at night now that the warmer nights are creeping in?
If you are tall like me and your feet hang out the bottom of the bed you will find that the night midges will fly in a take a bite.

This, but just in case have a darn good hover including under the bed. Wash your bedsheets on hot and just make sure the place is tidy and clean.

I do have my feat ontop of the covers at night yes, but we never have the window open due to the baby. ill upload some pics.

Not scratching them just dont work either, else i carnt sleep, and when they bleed the pain stops for a few hours, lol

Do you have little lumps that stick around for a while (days) where you're bitten? If so, it's fleas.

They might well be mosquitoes. Do you have any ponds, water troughs, buckets full of water, lakes, or any other stagnant water nearby? They don't tend to carry anything in Europe, just itch like merry hell.

When I've had lots (usually on hols in Sweden somewhere) if they got too bad, I'd wet blobs of toilet paper and stick them to the worst ones. Anything to cool that itch, they are maddening I know! The more you itch, the more the itchy stuff spreads under your skin, and the larger they get - so best to avoid it!

Oh, and buy some repellent.
