What Kitchen gadget would you love to have?

A tin opener that works.

I'm serious, we've been through five in the last two months.

I've resorted to those 'manual' ones, which is basically a knife and something for leverage.

I have to admit, I saw who the OP was and feared the worst.

But that boiling water tap is actually quite cool. It must be quite a simple concept as well, you've basically got a huge hot water tank underneath?

Qooq $399 + optional subscription. Out in us in September. (English by end of year, so probably September as well)
It has split screen, I didn't think android had such capability. Or maybe it's running custom software.

You and your family's recipes
are stored on QOOQ!

Say goodbye to recipes scribbled on fly-away sheets and to dog-eared old recipe books! With our Recipe Manager, you can enter and save all your favorites via QOOQ's interactive recipe format. What's more, you can share them with friends and family who also have a QOOQ account, or directly on Facebook using the myQOOQ app.

That last one about saving your own recipes, hello yeah. I watch so many blogs, magazines etc. not interested in all. If I could just plumb the good ones in. Hell yeah.

Really hope it does well and shows a market for other to follow. Imagine good food and other magazines making content for it.

Also two of those awesome hobs someone posted a video of the other week. They looked awesome.

I'd like a man that would eat my food without complaining and then would offer to clean the dishes while I watch eastenders :) sounds good to me x

inb4 various "ill be that guy" quotes.

Ummm I'd like a couple of beer taps. Proper pub ones so that I can pull a pint of Peroni whenever I want. Next to that I want one of those Sahara nut warmer things.

A gas hob and a slightly more predictable oven would be nice. There are also times when I miss having a freezer.

But I really don't buy into kitchen gadgets, they make a heck of a lot of stuff easier, but there's very little you can't do once you've got the basics.
