What Kitchen gadget would you love to have?

I'd like a man that would eat my food without complaining and then would offer to clean the dishes while I watch eastenders :) sounds good to me x

I do that already, but unfortunately I've been married for 13 years.

:p

I already own all the gadgets I've always wanted in the kitchen, top 3 are:

Cuisinart Food Processor
Green Star Elite Juicer
Vitamix 5000 Blender

I thought it was a gimmick at first but we have had it in our house for about a year now and its very very useful.

However the problem is that because it comes out pressurised its spits all over the place so for our new place I'm going to use a Zip Hydro tap which seems to be much better and also gives you chilled water.

I would love to have this but I'm not going to spend 2k on it.

I never ever drink coffee (probably had 5 cups in my life) so I have to ask why?

It scalds the coffee and makes it taste bitter.

I already have a Vitamix so I'm happy on that front. Would really like an ice dispenser/crusher though for making decent cocktails. Doing it all manually is a pain and unfortunately the Vitamix either flings ice cubes around or obliterates them into snow.

Got this recently!! :D (as seen in the 'Things bought in January' Thread!)

Not in need of much else for a bit as we don't have much room in the Kitchen for any more ornaments!...

Though we do want some more toys that plug in to the Mixer (Mincer, Pasta maker, Ice Cream maker, grinder etc...) :)

I would love one of those computer countertops. You place a few items of food on the surface and it pops up a list of recipes and how long it would take to cook them.

Check out the link below and there's a video clip at the bottom of the page

Wow that's very cool. Now just get the projector and camera smaller and at a height that would fit in the base of an overhead cupboard. Or ceiling.

Smart Oven, always wondered how those things work, you scan the barcode and it somehow knows what temp and for how long to cook it, does it have an internet connection or something.

Or taps that fire a beem of red or blue light down the water spout to show hot or cold
