What made you choose your partner?

She's hilarious and ludicrously intelligent, and i was sold as soon as i'd worked that out. Everything else was a bonus. We both had partners at the time, but these things are never simple.
 
We started talking randomly one Monday evening after both posting in a thread on a car forum (which was actually a "Wanted" thread she posted, saying she wanted a boyfriend, and I put a really sarcastic reply, which resulted in us talking on Messenger)

We talked via MSN & text almost every waking minute until Friday evening, when I went to meet her, travelling from North East London to Swindon, and after the initial nervousness from both sides (a bit of JD for me and wine for her helped with that) we were getting on really well, and I ended up staying there until Sunday evening.

We get on like a house on fire, have similar interests, similar senses of humour, and we're both now really happy. I have now moved to Swindon and hopefully moving in with her as soon as we can arrange it :)
 
I chose mine because she was a nice looking girl, very curvaceous and was always smiling.

we have now been together for the best part of 13 years and she amazes me every day.

There is absolutely no reason why we should still be together, everyone who knows us says that we shouldnt be together....we have nothing at all in common (I like Classic rock music, she likes pop, i like movies that you might have to think about...she doesnt, i like computers, she despises them etc etc) but we get along absolutely great.

We have never had a serious argument and i would never **** her off (she would prob **** me off :-)

All in all she is an amazing woman who gave birth to my 2 wonderful kids....im a lucky man.
