What "man jobs" have you done today?

Still painting Summerhouse - outside this time - My belt came for B&D planer so planed off high plank's on floor (they are 5"x1" ) - got ply down and screwed down.

Totally cream crackered Much to old for this sort of work.

Dug a new soak-away, old 1930's pipe absolutely solid with gubbins, smashed it and removed debris, laid new pipe down with a good fall on it onto rubble etc.

This was Sunday actually, but I've just noticed the thread.

Moved a pallet of turf from the front garden to the back garden in my lunch break. That was hard work... As i sit here in my IT/day job i can feel my lower back throb. Have a bloke coming to lay it all later though which is good!

I cheated and built it around one of them tough plastic gorilla tubs . Cut a rough angle onto all the boards as the tub tapers a bit at the bottom and then stapled through the tub into the boards to hold in place, then used the hessian to strengthen it up. It would probably be better with some strips of stainless steel or bronze or something.

Not today, but a couple of weeks back i tried to get a field of hay... and failed (rain).

Big bale Haylage in the end would have had a few pics but had to push on when the contractor came in to bale and wrap.

Feel like I am finally getting there - Painted back yesterday and did a few other outstanding jobs -

Been out today and wife ordered some Vynal for floor - Ordered two LED wall light's and got some trunking.

Needs another coat of paint on outside and alarm magnets fitted to door and can have a sit down listening to 50's and 60's on Wifi Digital radio.
