What "man jobs" have you done today?

Mended a tower fan which was brought down from storage in the loft. Plugged it in and the internal fan slowly squealed its way through one revolution and stopped. Took it apart, vacumed out the huge amount of dust and fluff inside (it's about 10 years old) dabbed a bit of silicon grease on the bearing surfaces of the cam and the motor, reassembled and she works a treat.

Yesterday... Dug out 16 rubble sacks worth of crappy soil from this border, membraned, planted and put bark down. Need another bag of bark and trim the membrane around the fence posts. Few more bags to fill from the pile down the bottom.
Edges need work!

Today... Second and third coat of paint in the garage. Need another couple of litres of paint  breeze blocks drink it.

Cleaned the magnetic filter on the feed to the boiler this morning, not too much iron oxide sludge in there but glad it's done.

Nice! We did ours a few weeks back. Came up a similar bright sheen. Years of muck off that thing.

All this talk of man jobs - anyone remember this:

Seen the posts about mud kitchens, here's one I build out of the leftover pallets from the shed I built

Easy build, kids love it

Had this delivered yesterday

Set up the log splitter this morning

By three this afternoon Got this pile of split logs -the delivered ones were way too big. - This is only about 1/2 of the pile. and it's that high inside and I have only just thrown them in.
I would recommend anyone to get a splitter it's way more easy than a axe/maul.

This is the foreman giving me a "Why have you stopped working" look

I don't know why the log man thought I had a commercial burner. -Got to get chainsaw out and cut these and more on the pile in half.

Tomorrow will be a stacking day. - I am not sure if this lot will fit in but I have room in another two stores.
Never ever get rid of your bath for a large walk in shower -I really need a soak in bath now -my back is stiff.

Edit 1
Log store didn't quite take all the wood -have to split another barrow load
