Man handled my "new to me" log burner out the car, up 13 steps, the hill up the garden and into the Gazebo
Then swapped the flue outlet from the top to the back
It was "interesting" getting it out the car and into the wheelbarrowI bet that was more than bloody heavy - couple of cans of exhaust paint on there and it will look like new.
If you leave them outside it doesn't take long for them to rust up.
We did one for a boss a few years ago and used a special black paste, like shoe polish if I remember correctly.
Hard work taking it back, but looked lovely when finished.

Lots of swearing getting it up to the gazebo and every inch of effort (plus swearing and sweating) to deadlift / walk it into place. It certainly weighs more than me and I'm about 120kg
Although it's outside it's pretty well covered but will try and keep on top of any rust spots
I'm hoping to leave as is at the mo, it's not in had nick at all (especially what I paid for it)
Only reason he wanted it done was to fit in with the olde vicarage he had bought.
It's not a bad idea for outside heating, if had at a good price.
Ah, ok.
Yeah 6.8kw and got it for £100, very happy with that!
Cracking price for a garden and pie heater.
Are you installing a flue?
Thanks and yeah, out the back (out of the gazebo) and up beyond the eaves.
That side it's against we are going to block / panel up as well

Very nice.
I would love to see final pics
Hmm pine trees above the flue may be a fire hazard.
Very nice sir! What a sexist title! (Cue feminist hysteria... !)
Here's my latest antics!
Not finished at all, but it's been great for two kids parties and many family gatherings already!
Me and other half have been gradually building our BBQ zone!
I've included my cricut cut self-designed meat temperature board... !
Thank you, milady! Thanks and sure there will be pics
it'll be right
Very nice sir!
Thank you, milady!
Loads still to do, but we're gradually getting there!
Chaps,
What ladder do I need to get to the second story comfortably? Standard house, flat outside... Need to fix the guttering.
Never had to buy a ladder before and there are hundreds of different sizes etc.
Storage isn't an issue.
