What "man jobs" have you done today?

Funny enough i actually bought a wall hung toilet but there were all kinds of install problems so i didnt bother to fit it. Im looking to sell this house once ive done the bathroom and kitchen so im going to take it to my next place. I could have got it into this one but the issue was the soil pipe being in the way and unable to be moved as their is a toilet to the right of the wall and also the bracket was to high with the window being there. Its a shame because it would have looked great.

Finished my bathroom. Got a bargain on the vinyl floor.

Just need to seal the skirting to floor with sealant

I also fitted a shower behind the door.

Mixed 4 loads of sand and Cement to build a dwarf wall for one side of my new conservatory. Also cleaned up parts of the conservatory as its second hand (only 3 years old) and covered in silicone and expanding foam.

I like that vinyl, where did you get it from?

Rodded out a sewer!

Cant believe that people actually pay to have this done! It's ickey but that is what showers are for! It isn't hard! :D

I rod my toilet all the time. Don't know why but it blocks all the time.

I keep the poo stick next to the bog like a toilet brush. :o

Two coats of Barrentine wood preservative applied to workshop walls. Took some time but worth the effort.
Chopped some more wood for the pile and the used my Kelly Kettle for the first time to boil water for a cuppa.

Sanded down and glossed all the horrible loooking pine woodwork in the bathroom. Glossed the radiator/skirtings/doorframe. Took down the 'chrome' wall shelves that had started to get rust patches, sanded them down, undercoated them, then glossed them as well. Fitted a new light fitting and glass shade. Fitted a new venetian blind. Fitted a nice new shiny white toilet seat.

Everything looks so much brighter and cleaner. Very happy.

Just got to repaint the ceiling, lay some new laminate, fit some new sink taps and redo the sealant and that's the bathroom refresh done.

Fitted a dishwasher where the washing machine is and am in the process of plumbing in the washing machine in the back porch/soon to be utility.

Pain of a job as the plumbing in this house was bodged in 1990, I think i'll bodge this in too and then plan a complete refit.

Bedded in my final two railway sleepers with no football this weekend. Got to take about a foot and a half off one sleeper at the back to finally 'frame' where my grass is going. Tonight / tomorrow, depending on the weather, I'll be weeding out the ground thats presently in the frame and evening it out in preparation for some new topsoil.
