what meats you having for xmas day

A turkey shipped from a farm in Norfolk which is vastly different from any supermarket and most local butchers I've tried over the years.

I haven't cooked a Christmas dinner for years. We usually go round my parents in the morning for breakfast and then in the afternoon to the in laws.

I usually request chicken as I'm not a fan of turkey but my father in law is a bit of a feeder and usually brings me out a second helping of turkey, chicken and veg.

We do Chicken because Turkey is in every way inferior. Cost. Size to store. Availability. cba

What about taste? We order ours from a farm in Norfolk ever year and its delivered to our door and its nothing like supermarket ones or any we've tried from local butchers. The farm even posts videos of the turkeys through the year for those that are interested :D

Cost isn't great I do admit, but its no dearer than premium supermarket "been kept at near freezing in a bag full of gas for 2 months" versions and vastly better.
