what meats you having for xmas day

just the standard Turkey family dinner, not my meat of choice, but then since we all going round to the sister house and she doing all the cooking, i can't complain

Steak pie on xmas day, preferably 'Bells', if I can't find one tomorrow (& I don't think I will), I'll get the ingredients to make my own, but I'll make shortcrust, not flakey pastry - not making that lol!
It's also great being a non-veg fan, I don't have to faff around with all that cooking.

Turkey tomorrow!

Rolled turkey crown, can't be faffing around with the bones and stuff, I also find it easier to keep the meat moist wrapped in foil and a bottle of wine poured in the bottom of the tray wrapped in streaky bacon.

And gammon, slow cooked today in fresh orange juice then roasted and basted with honey, orange zest and marmalade mix.

Will be Turkey at my parents' place. Always much of a muchness really but tradition isn't really to be messed with.
