What MMORPG are you currently playing?

Some Darkfall PvP (not made by me)

and for those who know magic is pretty much the only thing worth using in PvP at the moment with Melee they're adding specialist skills for Melee and Archery in the upcoming expansion next week which will make you have one path or maybe a combined depending on how far into a certain specialisation you want to go.

Well, I am not playing one ATM as I have Torchlight and Dragon Age to play, but I have an active account with Runes of Magic that I suspect I will go back to at some point. Possibly after DA:O, Torchlight, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, ... :D

Great advantage of a free MMO, I can leave and come back without worrying about the money I am losing :)

LOTRO has a welcome week staring next week and then I have a key code for a retail version with month's sub. Before that used to play WoW.

WoW most evenings, trying to get a Human Priest, Blood Death Knight to lvl 70/80 and just started on a blood elf paladin. I spend about 30mins - 1 hour each day if I can.
Rest of the weekend/evening time is Eve, either roaming or just chatting with corp mates. Our running joke is that I am the most unlucky pirate in the universe, with no targets to kill during fleet activity, but when I go to bed or wife drags me afk - the rest of the fleet starts battling some blob. I am also the most unwealthy pirate too, with 1.4k isk to my name......

I'm playing LOTRO and loving every second of it.

I play Eternal Lands now and then but I really don't like the direction the developers are taking it.

None - best thing I've done in years was quitting these daft time consuming games. Honestly if you're sitting at the PC every night playing one of these it's time to have a good hard look at the amount of time you've wasted away playing them and what you could have done in that time. Yes you might be enjoying yourself, I don't deny that I did but by hell it's a lot of time when you add it up!

The question is whether its wasted time if you are enjoying yourself. Of course, if you arent enjoying yourself then why the hell are you doing it !

I guess its really no worse than sitting in front of the TV every night watching tv (you could argue that sitting in front of the TV every night is actually worse). Or indeed sitting reading a book every night. Or really, sitting doing any one particular thing every night.

Like all things in life, its about moderation. Do 1 particular thing every single night and it could be considered wasteful no matter what the 1 thing is.

Not playing any MMORPG at the moment. I did play Guild Wars for 3 years until Arena Net decided to put all their attention into Aion and GW2, which meant the only update GW was getting is tedious Weekend Event.

So atm, i don't think i will buy another MMORPG until GW2 does come out because tbh i've lost interest in them atm...

WoW.

Though god it is dull at the moment, only log in to raid and thats rare considering worthwhile content lasts 1-2 raid nights at most.

EvE although the learning curve is still melting my face at the moment.

Got so bored of WoW which was my first MMO. I played it from the 1.11 up until they released TOC. Really enjoyed TBC but WOTLK is too easy. I understand the reasons behind making it easy but it's just ruined for me.

EvE I can see me really getting into once I join a corp and finally do some PvP. Just mining at the moment to build some initial cash\skills for my 2 accounts. Going with mining on one and PvP on the other eventually although I'm just using him to haul atm.

for the first time in 10 years im not playing any!

Although i might go back to EQ2. I just dont like the grind and i hear theyve put another 10 levels on the max now.

AION, meh, got booted out of the guild i was in as i had the cheek to not be playing every night lol cant be arsed to log in and play it though.

Id love to see an Anarchy Online 2. LOTRO was fantastic fun but hardly anyone played it, or anyone that would socialise outside their guilds.

I just find that if you cant play every waking hour of your life you just get left behind in these games now and i just dont havt the time to sink into them anymore to keep up.

Thank god for Dragon Age :) A fabulous RPG i can take my time with.
