What Myth would you want to see busted?

I beg to differ!! What if one side of the sandwich that you cut has all the meat on it then that is the sandwich and the other half is just a waste. Similarily if you cut a person in half on a cellular level then perhaps you could have another person!?

I almost put in a qualifying assumption about cutting the sandwich in an appropriate way, but thought naaaah, nobody will be pedantic enough to go there. :p:)

To make a point and work it through, which he did and you did not.

But he apologised so what else do you want from him?

What didn't I work out?
I know nothing of helicopters but suggested somebody with a toy helicopter and record deck should try it out.

How much is the average RPM of helicopter blades?

20'000?

1 metre away shouldnt the helicopter have wind resistance equivelant to the RPM * circumference of the affected part of the helicopter?

6.282 * 20000 = 125640 metres per minute to mph = 4684mph~

I wonder how long it would last before being torn to shreds?

Edit: fixed calcs

6.282 * 20000 = 125640 metres per second to mph = 281'048mph~

Except that RPM is per minute not per second

Personally I want him to be more friendly in his debating style in future rather than trying to be condescending in an attempt to aid his argument, but we shall see. :)
