What on Earth have they done?

I wonder how the miniature ones will look. IIRC they only have 3 tips, so they'll probably shrink it down to two tips and one long flat in the middle. It won't look like a toblerone full stop.

I'd have preferred they kept the bar the same but upped the price a bit if I am honest.

This looks stupid.

Im also surprised they didn't claim obesity

It's blatantly brexit.
Can't really blame them. Of cost of product changes by 10-20pc something has to give.

And maybe these companies want people to know it's brexit as they all want us to stay in? You know, make it obvious why it's happening.

Inflation is the first inevitable consequence of brexit. And although may help many exporters net importers have to pass the cost on.

Fuel, food etc all has a knock on to the consumer. Throw in the minimum wage increase and its only heading one way, just steeper than before.

Obviously this shows that this recessed pound value is here to stay for a while, otherwise these things wouldnt be happening so quickly

Dunno how people don't think it's due to brexit tbh

I'm not saying it's not due to to brexit, but I think manufacturers are starting to take advantage of brexit a bit too much. One started it with marmite, not everyone's on the make. If it's due to brexit then if the pound recovers, will the toblerones go back to normal? Will they fairy cakes! They'll just enjoy the bigger profits.

They have shrunk, regardless of what the manufacturer claims.

Article HERE suggests a shrink from 79mm to 74mm during the '80s and then another shrink in weight from 41g to 36g during the 00's.

But even if that is true, thats not much of a shrinkage. The main reason they look half the size is due to the fact as kids they looked massive.

If you asked me before you posted that I would have sworn that they were at least 150mm when I was a kid!

tbh wagon wheels were crap then just as they are crap now, at least you get less crap for your money now ;)

150mm would be insane :D
Imagine that in your lunchbox

I'd have picked it at maybe 90-100mm, if I'd had a guess at it.
