what online game for netbooks?

Has anyone got any recommendations for an online game that can be played with a netbook? I was thinking RTS or FPS, but anything would do. Would quake 3 run, or starcraft etc? What about something newer like cod4 on minimum settings or COH?

Also what about installing it as there's no dvd drive!

Any reply will be much appreciated

How come these games run with only 8MB graphic ram? From what i read this is all the eepc has.

whats the best way to install them without an external dvd drive? Can it be done over a network?

Total Annihilation is good but havent played online
gta:vice city (multiplayer mod)
Day of Defeat,
HL1

Pity onboard graphics doesnt support Hardware TnL on the eee.

also dont forget some multiplayer webgames, eee can be slow sometimes but surprising.

Yea theres some games I thought a netbook wouldn't be able to play even though the game is quite old, at most I thought netbooks can play flash games
