If you mean one single item, then my case was the current most expensive item in my pc. It was £250 about 10-12 years ago, Coolermaster ATCS 110

After that, £200 graphics card, GTX660ti

GTX 780 £367, but it was on offer and I've spent allot more on a single card in the past.

I tend to upgrade every few years, and get the best of each component at the time.

This time I also went with watercooling for the first time, which added an extra few £££s.
