Crysis – I hated it when it came out because it performed so badly, even on my amazing 8800 GTX oc’d to Ultra!
But now that I can max it out on very high at 1920 x 1200, I have to say: Wow. It’s not only the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen, it’s really my type of game, I really like it. I get tired of the COD: Black Ops style constant-never-ending action with no break (in case you notice how mediocre it all is) but half the fun for me in Crysis is just walking (running and jumping) around a tropical paradise and admiring the view (ok and kicking North Korea’s behind too). Brilliant, beautiful fun.

Finished Witcher 2 and Fable 3 in the last week (Fable wasnt as bas as I expected, GF bought it for us to play together and was actually quite fun if very easy with some meh elements).
Playing through Duke Nukem Forever and Section 8: Prejudice for online shenanigans. Duke is a very fun old school shooter and a breath of fresh air from the flood of cod crap recently. Section 8 is possibly my suprise hit this year, £9 and a very good online shooter with good maps and decent team sizes.
As I got my netbook this week, decided to load up some old school replays that I have been getting the itch for. Deus Ex (needs no descriptions - still best game ever) and Little Big Adventure 2 (such a good game. Very old but just as playable today. Twinsen vs the sausage men!).
