Yeah i heard about this, I was just thinking that since i have the GoTY edition would i be able to play the DLC levels within Hitman 2?

Yes what you do is something along the lines of start Hitman 2, then go back and start Hitman 1 so it recognises you own all the levels and then back in Hitman 2 you’ll be able to redownload them as DLC for free.

I've been playing a lot of Last Epoch, a new ARPG that is in EA right now. It's got an interesting system where you get points in passive abilities for your class and adding points unlocks more skills, but almost every skill also has its own specialisation tree in which you can level up to change how the skills work. For example, the Sentinel has a skill called Ring of Shields which unlocks when you put 5 points in the Paladin subclass. It throws up three shields which orbit you and tank a bit of damage. As you level it, though, you can add more shields, buff their HP and resistances so they tank more damage, or make them last longer - simple stuff. But you can also give them the ability to heal and buff you, explode on death, or provide constant AOE damage. However, skills also have a level cap, so you have to choose between doing one thing very well or having a little bit of everything.

Three of four classes don't have all their skill trees in and there's still one more class to add, and the story is only 75% complete, but apart from that it's close to fully featured and very playable. I recommend giving it a shot if you like your POE.

I've been playing the Talos Principle. I enjoy the puzzles but I'm not sure I'm capable of doing it all without a guide here and there, but if I don't I'll likely never finish it so no shame.

I think I only cheated the once and I would never in a million years got the solution. Some of the puzzles in the last area are ingenious. If there's any game that needs a sequel, it's The Talos Principle.

there is another part to it called Road to Gehenna but I don't know what that is.

Very much enjoying A Plague Tale too. My current game, with the odd hour of HL:Alyx mixed in.
Good looking game, once I got 21:9 to work. I can't believe they didn't include ultra wide resolutions by default. I had to edit the HEX in the exe for goodness sake.
Quite linear though, which I actually really enjoy for a change. Feels quite old in its gameplay, but well polished. Except when the other characters keep getting under my feet.

I've tried A Plague Tale but when I set it to 4k it locks to 30fps which is horrendous. Have any of you encountered and resolved this?

I think that was happening to me. It might be double buffer Vsync. I do have Vsync on with a 60Hz TV as my screen.

In the end, I ran it at 4K resolution but with the game's scaler set to 50% so in effect it's running at 1080p. Still looks very good and it can maintain 60fps near enough on my 1070 with that. My GPU is about 80% usage when playing but you can see it spike to 99% and then it'll hit 30fps at weird moments for half a second or so and then back to 60.

Since furloughed I've put in some gaming hours:
Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Another great tomb game. It was about the right length and I skipped some of the side tombs in the end.
Far Cry 5. Love the grind, guns and map. It's just a lot of fun. cba with boss fights these days, I slid to easy for the finale, otherwise hard play-through was about right (except for the intro mission lol which is a joke)
The Division 2. Another great grind, guns and map. Possible future for everyone! I don't like the Lvl 30 end-game-not-end-game. I guess you can always restart. I played solo with my turret :)
Red Dead Redemption 2. Awesome. Rockstar doing what they do. Sure, annoying characters forcing annoying things to happen sometimes, otherwise flawless.
HITMAN. Fun murderin sandbox. It's a shame the first Paris mission is the weaker one, once that's out of the way its all good. quicksave!
Black Mesa. Excellent remake plus improved Xen. Maybe slightly too long, there, I said it.
Kingdom: New Lands. Simple but effective gameplay
Kingdom: Two Crowns. OK, but too much new stuff for me.
Alien: Isolation - Crew Expendable DLC. Holy hell. Thought I was safe in the vents NOPE :)

I've got a few games in steam library to go through. Far Cry New Dawn doesn't appeal as much as its the same map as 5 with lesser characters.
