What PC games are you playing?

Max Payne 3 and recently started Half life 2. Thinking of getting Ghost Recon Future Soldier now but it looked a bit buggy.

Finished Bulletstorm - not very long but some of the best fun I've had in ages - doesn't take itself seriously and it's a shame there's no sequel in the pipeline. OK, it's a console game but tbh I really enjoyed the change of scenery, it looks gorgeous on PC and the dialogue is hilarious at times. :) Well worth the money!

Now, back to Metro 2033...

Portal 2 user maps.
Alan Wake and Alan Wake American Nightmare, again.
Dead Island again.
Max Payne 3,struggling to get into this.
Payday:Heist, not started yet.
Saints Row: The Third, not sure its for me.
Men of war: Vietnam A freebie I got yesterday.

Still playing through Deus Ex. Loving it as usual. Using the D9 renderer with New vision and ENB. Looks really good.

I was reading about a possible remake the other day, and I think I would welcome it. With mods, the graphics really aren't an issue for me(though a HD remake would be excellent). I think the things that need a bit of tweaking are the stealth mechanics and the enemy AI....they have not aged well imo. Only very small changes are needed though, maybe a tweak to weapons and Alert times is all that is really needed.

The problem with a remake of course, is that it would probably change too much, when the only things that really need changing are what I have said above. HD with all the exact same Scenes/lines/maps etc, but with small changes to gameplay would be awesome!

Trying to get into Guild Wars 2 at the moment, but finding it a bit of an effort. Most noticeable thing I dislike about it (as with the the original GW) is the slow panning when you're looking around. I guess I've got too used to Wow/LoTRO/other mmo's.

Interestingly, I played Guild Wars way before LoTRO and Wow, and I really liked it until I started playing those two. Wow especially has movement down really well. LoTRO's a little bit less so, but still easily playable. If only they'd get rid of the need for .net 1.1!

Currently playing:

TF2 - The MvM update has certainly made me want to pick the game back up again, huge sucker for survival game modes :o
Borderlands - Never completed the DLC's when I had this on console, so doing a run on PC with all the DLCs

Oh, and playing Dead Island on and off too :)

Just reached Hong Kong, managed to keep Paul alive....In all previous playthroughs I just left him there to die.

Just gonna sort out Ms. Chow;)

Looks alright with the DX9 renderer and ENB.

......They don't make 'em like this anymore

^^ Even in those screenshots, I can see the improved textures. I still haven't got around to modding this, though I'm sure I will one day. :)

It is definitely worth doing. Lets be honest, the game never really looked that great, even at release, but you can get it to a reasonable level so that it can hold its own now and not look outdated, which considering its age is quite impressive. The ENB makes a lot of difference, despite the author saying there was not much he could do with it.

Just finishing off Deus Ex, and then I will probably just be waiting around for Dishonored tbh. I might actually give Invisible War a go. I have always thought of revisiting it to give it a reevaluation.

You're right they don't make games like that any more. There have been some that have been pretty close to the same kind of 'world/interaction' as it but none have offered the same level of story telling as well as unique game-play. Deus Ex is one of a kind, and I really hope someday, if they make another Deus Ex after Human Revolution, they try to push the envelope like the original did.

In answer to this thread, I am currently playing through:

MW3, which is my second playthrough since it was released. I am enjoying it a bit more this time, after completing MW1 and MW2 again a few months before.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, primarily because the game feels more awesome in 120hz than before on my 60hz monitor. Also, I really want to desperately play the original Deus Ex again, which this game obviously leads up to. I want to mod the hell out of it this time as well.

Finished Dawnguard about 10 days ago, but its reinvigorated my love of Skryim, so I've just been walking around the expanse of the map rediscovering stuff for the last week.

Bought Max Payne 3 on release, but like some others, really struggled to get into it, and haven't touched it since the first week. Shame.

High hopes for Dishonoured - haven't been anticipating a game this much for ages. Really hoping it will astonish and immerse me as much as Bioshock did when I first played that. Guess I'll find out in a month.

i've finally got back into STALKER: Clear sky. i was just so unmotivated to do the start of the game with the peashooter that you get ammo for but as soon as i got a decent amount of ammo for the AK i found my love of stalker again. i've spent pretty much all day playing it :D
