what platform do you watch F1 on

SkyQ.

Great coverage, most of the team are really good and the “padding” is pretty good too.

I even enjoy Teds notebook.

That girl on the grid today with Martin….not a clue who she was but wasn’t there a “Brundles” law that said if you are on the grid then you must be available for interviews?

I didn’t imagine that did I??? I mean it has happened before lol.

NowTV app on my TV.
For Monaco, I got bored and needed to get on with some things so I recorded the C4 show on my HTPC and we watched the final 30mins (after the restart) later in the evening.
As an aside, I spent ages today trying to figure out why I couldn't see what was on later in the day on NowTV until I figured that the clue is in the name.

Sky+TV licence is too expensive.
F1 isn't good enough for me to pay that.

I watch on all4 before sleep.

Like today I didn't have to sit through any of the delays.

It works well:
-less boring
-saves loads of money
-doesnt ruin the day watching TV midday at weekends

F1TV pro.

Makes Sky look like freeview. I like that they’ll show the FOM feed and have exclusive split screen or pip showing a particular battle.

Oh and the ability to follow a specific driver cam for the entire race or switch commentary if Crofty is doing your head in.

Fancy watching the 2008 British Grand Prix… it’s there. The 2021 title decider? Go for it. Bored of the hybrid era? Chuck on a race from when we had V12/v10/v8.

Lastly… it’s £59 per year.
I must admit you are selling it to me, I never realised its so competitively priced. I rarely watch races live and being a C4 viewer, catch-up on highlights in the evening. I don't mind to be honest as I get more done in the day!

Is there much pre-race/qualy build-up, grid walks etc?

It should be noted F1TV isn't officially available in the UK. There are hoops to jump through to get it to work though. No doubt someone here will tell you how to break copyright and get it.

Hardly hoops.

I subscribed for a year in the iOS app. Then whenever you want to watch you literally switch your VPN on before opening the app and it’s all there :)

You don’t get the grid walk but you do get their own version of a pre-race show which is pretty decent.

I’m not telling anyone to do it… but let’s not pretend it’s as bad as watching an illegal stream for free. If it was available in the UK, I’d pay but Sky torpedo’d that idea with their ridiculous exclusivity deal with Bernie.
