What PSU?

My case has excellent cable managment so modular won't really make any difference to me but all the good reviews from people with 6 cores and more graphical power than me do make it look quite good and the coolermaster gold would be an instant winner if it came in a slightly higher wattage but I'm apprehensive about a 700w

Mine is running a Phenom II 955 @ 4ghz, 4 sticks 1600 mhz ddr3, HD 6950 clocked and unlocked to a 6970, SSD, 4 sata drives, dvd drive, 7 120mm fans and all is good. It comes with the leads to power 3 twin power connector Gpu's so it should be enough..
There are also 800, 1000 & 1200w versions but cost a lot more. The 700w version has 58A on the 12v and can peak at 98A..

Basically, it's a pointless quandary as all the big brands sell great PSUs in this price range so the difference will be minimal. The nuts and bolts inside come from two major oem manufacturers. Warranty and price, and maybe aesthetics are all you really need to go on tbh. Just pay as much as you can reasonably afford and shop around for the best price on each option.

I doubt your system would even push most decent brand 650w psu's let alone 700-850W units. 12v amperage is more improtant than overall wattage in today's high power gaming rigs.

I just re-did my spec but with your cpu overclocked to 4ghz and it came out at 570W.. ?
really. damn. I may have done something stupid again I'm really tempted to get that silent pro gold and I suppose it does have a good warranty just incase

Edit: I get 706w without the overclock
