I'm looking at the Seasonic VERTEX GX-1000 and I see you have the 1200w apart from the wattage difference I'm sure they are the same. Are you still happy with it, I'm building a new system starting October and I've always wanted to try seasoning. Reviews look positive.
I've had the GX 1000 Since Feb and it has been solid, Can't hear it, Dead silent to me and 0 issues all voltages are as they should be.

i'm on the verge of buying a Be Quiet Dark Pro 13 1600W ATX3.0 ...

what's the feedback on Be Quiet's Dark Pro overall my friends.

I was looking at that because of impatience waiting for the Vertex from Seasonic but I waited for the Seasonic in the end.

I didn't like the multi rail of the be quiet and that silly switch you have to connect up to the back of your case to get a single 12v rail put me off also not to mention there's no hybrid fan mode for silence.

Unless anything has changed with the 1600w variant I don't know to be honest.

Well … do I need it ? No. But the last time I bought a PSU was in 2013-14. An XFX Dark Pro 1250. I did not need it back then but it’s still running strong today. Now going to my kid rig. So yeah don’t need it but I’m not expecting to buy anything new in the upcoming years so I prefer to go big. Ehehe. That specific psu has multi rail but can be single rail too so we are covered there.

In terms of quality and so can you tell me something about it ?

There is a jumper wire in the box to set it as well. You don't need to install the PCI plate switch to get single rail.

Noise wise, the 1kw PSU I have is nigh on silent.

Second BeQuiet PSU I've owned. The last being a Dark Power Pro 10, which I've just replaced as it's at the end of its 10 year warranty. It's still going strong.

I didn't know about a jumper wire, Just seems odd why any PSU manufacturer would even bother with multirail these days not to mention at these wattages.

I have no doubt they're a good PSU as I was looking at it but decided to stick with Seasonic in the end as I have had 3 and not 1 has failed but Be Quiet are good brand also no doubt about that.

Yeah it's a bit of an odd one, but nevertheless nice to have the choice.

So long as it doesn't blow up, and ideally lasts the warranty that's good for me. :D
