What racing/driving games?

I've tried other luts and it's still shaking, is some shaking normal? Is it normal to have to firmly hold the wheel otherwise you can spin out.

Either try setting damper gain to 100% in FFB setting, or try what's suggested in the video above, assuming you haven't already.
If either fail, search for Asseto corsa g920 oscillation.

I found pcars2 to be very inconsistent with car feel, some cars behave as you might expect, then jump into something similar and suddenly the tyres feel like they're made of plastic with no feedback and constant snapping with no warning.

I always found AC to be much better physics wise, but I'm spending all my time on ACC recently; the car selection is much more limited but every car is SO much better modelled, so if you're into GT3s then it's 100% worth looking at.

Thanks! ...In the middle of downloading the free F1 2018 now and google says no VR support? I don't even have a monitor on my rig lol.

Oh well, it was free.

I find it overwhelming trying to configure wheel, simply want some proper settings and then the wheel the handle correctly like it should do. Nothing seems to correct the issue of wobbly wheel in assetto corsa even trying above steps.

Tried PC2 and the car seems to slide into corners, not sure if that's normal or not.

If you are doing "free practice" or public-lobby practice session and/or qualifying, the tires start off cold and are down on grip for a lap or two. If you want to start with tires up to temp, you need to do time trial or a race. Public lobby's and your own custom race both start with tires up to temp.

What combo(s) were you running in PC2 where you experienced this?

I'll do it tomorrow as turned laptop off.

Maybe I'm thinking of it the wrong way, if the steering wheel is in sync with that on screen then turning should be fine, FFB is preference and is simply the road information to help you feel what the car is doing.

Then there are deadzones and other settings on same page which perhaps is the most important?

I'm not sure how sensitive the brake should be to be accurate, I find the brake pedal needs adjusting as I can't push it all the way it takes far too much pressure.

Try minimum force 10% and Damper Gain 100%.
Is the wheel set to 900° in CM?
Disable centering spring in your logitech panel.

What's the brake gamma set to?

Re: PC2

I think your skidding car issue may be a cold tire issue. Have you tried time trial or a custom race? (Both start with tires that are up to temp.)

Cold tires are a pain to drive on.

Start by changing the default setup to anything other than the loose in PC2. Get used to racing on the one and only line in the game, then start throwing the car in on a loose setup.
